چکیده

The degradation of Remazol Black (RBB) by S-TiO2 photocatalyst was investigated. X-ray diffraction, fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, transmission and UV-vis specular reflectance spectroscopy has been used to characterize S-TiO2. The results suggested that the optical absorption edge TiO2 red-shifted addition S dopants bandgap energy 3.02 eV. sulfur species were found be evenly dispersed on crystal lattice as cationic (S6+) which corresponds substitution TiO2. particle size decreased 4-14 nm after doping, indicates contributed an improvement in surface area. RBB achieved 94% 120 min visible light irradiation, a remarkable increase compared bare only able degrade 48% at same time. Optimization pH showed optimum for 3.0, dose 0.8 g L-1. Kinetic study photocatalytic followed pseudo-second-order kinetics model. Reducing activity photodegradation region.

S-doped mesoporous nanocomposite of HTiNbO5 nanosheets and TiO2 nanoparticles with enhanced visible light photocatalytic activity.

The S-doped mesoporous nanocomposite (S-TNT) of HTiNbO5 nanosheets (NSs) and anatase TiO2 nanoparticles (NPs) with exposed {101} facets has been successfully synthesized by first mixing freeze-dried HTiNbO5 NSs with titanium isopropoxide and then calcination with thiourea in air. The exposed anatase {101} facets can act as a possible reservoir of the photogenerated electrons, yielding a highly ...
